It was rise and shine early this morning to take a jet boat ride down the Colorado River through Canyonlands National Park. A school bus pulled our boat down to the river and we put in at a launching site used by many rafters. They were all young, we were all old. On the way down stream we passed some incredible rock formations. Cruising back upstream we passed formations of another kind as the rafterettes flashed us!
A break for lunch before heading out on a 4x4 tour through Arches National Park with a very knowledgeable guide.
Later on, dinner at Bucks Grill House was totally the best meal on the trip! (elk stew for me)

Arrived home from this week's trip to our REALLY empty nest as Annie headed back to Kzoo yesterday. Boo hoo.
